Home to over 2,500 specimens from 316 different kind, Singapore Zoological Gardens has gain reputation over the years for its Open Zoo concept. Rather then cooping the animals in cages or jailed enclosure, Singapore Zoological Gardens uses barriers that are camouflaged behind natural environment such as waterfalls and vegetation to create an open and natural atmosphere. For information on how to get there, click here.

Its opening hours is from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily, ticket prices are at S$20.00 for adult and S$13.00 for children (3 to 12 years old). For information on promotions/packages, click here.

Singapore Zoo Corporate video

From a young boy to my teenage years, I have been to this Zoo about 6 times and never failed to enjoy myself each time because of the exciting animal performances. In the Zoo itself, there is many special attractions such as the Children's World, which is also my favorite as a child. It allows children to have hands on experience with different types of animals and also, to ride a pony. I recommend visiting the Zoo during the animals feeding time as that is the time when they are most active, and if you're lucky enough, you might even get the chance to feed the animals.
